One of the best places in Houston.
The food is very delicious.
The atmosphere super gorgeous.
Staff and wonder are extremely friendly.

over all good and delicious food. Due to lot of people taking hookah lot of smoke and smell inside covered area. Taste and service was good.

I’ve lived in the Gulf for years in several countries, so always look forward to good Arabic food, which I eat almost exclusively when I go back as I love it so much.

Went late evening with friends. Was quite crowded. Noisy and with music. Hookah was ok. Food was passable. Good place to go with friends but don’t let your expectations go high.

Great food! Predictably delicious every time. This is my go to for Mediterranean.

It’s a little bit of a drive for me? But it is well worth it. Staff is at tentative and friendly as well. We have yet to have a bad experience. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The way this fine gentleman was treated by the owner, of all people, was horrible, appalling, horrendous and awful. I come to Wasfi’s at least 4 to 5 times a week and that is no longer happening. I am aware that the restaurant owners and manager will not give a damn about me not showing up anymore but it is a matter of principle, as far as I am concerned. This bullying and thuggish gangster like conduct have no place in the hospitality industry.

Restaurants owners and mangers are supposed to solve problems and defuse tension, not escalating them. No matter what the situation was, this owner was supposed to be tranquil, pleasant and calm. He could’ve simply talked to Jaafar in private and not to bring 5 bullies with him to intimidate his customer. That behavior was shameful, despicable and deplorable.
Remember, this customer had left you a great 5 stars review in the past and spoke highly of your restaurant and staff. He is always eating and smoking hookas at Wasfi’s

You have one of the top restaurants in town, the food is always delicious, and the hooka is outstanding. By far it is one of the cleanest hooka cafes in town. Romero does a hell of a job cleaning the bathrooms, floors and windows. Take care if it man. Since Majdi left, management has gone down hill.
Appreciate and and embrace your customers too.

P.S. Do not mix your personal and business interests in one basket.

After an Invite from The Owner him self and the manager. i decided to pay a visit with friends. I want to thank you Francois and Asa’ad for all the hard work and changes you done to make Wasfi beautiul gathering place for family and friends. Thank you for caring about your customers and hearing their opinion. nothing to say except i want to show gratitude to Francois of all his hard work and the owner to make Wasfi great again as we know it.

Food is fine but expensive. The chicken liver was too greasy and it was like 20% chicken liver 80% grilled onion. I wished the chicken liver portion was more.

The atmosphere was not too comfortable! I felt there was unfairness in treating customers. For some reason I felt unwelcomed.

Overall, not worth to go back again!

I ordered the chicken kabob plate with hummus and tabouli. It hit the spot! Usually white meat chicken can come out dry but this dish was perfect. I tried my friends Cornish hen and the meat was so delicious and tender! Her rice was tasty and light as well. I would definitely come back and try more. Their smoothies look amazing!

This place is awesome. It’s located on Richmond avenue. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, the hookah is great, the food is delicious and fresh! I really enjoyed my time here! I’ll be back soon.

Even one star is waaaaay too much for the management. I love the food there and the owner i know takes care of his business, but the manager on duty is horrible does not even deserve to map the floor at this place. He prefers to loose a customer over letting us request a specific waiter, he even let us walk away and not apologize. Very bad and will never ever be back unless that manager leaves.

What we ate…
I had the chicken kabobs with rice and grilled veggies. The portion of chicken and rice are greatly sized considering the price they charge (only $12!). The rice was good by itself but just to further blow your mind they accompanied it with some sort of garlic puree which consists of fresh garlic and olive oil. Mix the rice with the garlic stuff and, voila, HEAVEN!

I also tried the salmon kabobs which were just as bomb as the chicken kabobs! I’m not a pescatarian or anything but I know not every restaurant knows how to make a flavorful piece of salmon. With that being said I was pleasantly surprised!

There is one downside about this place — they don’t serve alcohol!
Initially I was devastated but then I got over it. You also can not bring your own bottle. That’s right folks, you’ll have to be Sober Sally at this restaurant. They do have hookah and their’s is the cheapest I’ve ever had; only $10! They are also open pretty late during the week and weekends so in my opinion it’s the perfect place to eat before or after a night out on the town.

This is the worst place I have ever been. My friends and I were looking for a good place to eat and smoke hookah and we came across Wasfi’s Grill. We got seated and everything. During the whole entire time we never got asked if we were doing fine or if we needed something. We had to keep asking waiters for stuff and none of them would attend us. Just to get a cup of water we had to ask at least 4 waiters that is ridiculous (it was not only the water but many other things like getting more charcoal getting more food ect.) This is the worst experience ever I won’t be back. And to top it off cockroaches were walking near the windows.

I’ll never be back again, the food is good and great atmosphere but i don’t like when someone says the opposite we should pay $100 for the new year party but i was surprised that i have to pay $219. The manager offered free dinner to me tomorrow but ill never be back I don’t like this kind of busines

Hooka was the way hooka is supposed to be. Food was a very large portion. Staff can use some more hospitality though. U have to smile while your taking people’s order also u have to accommodate what customer wants. I wanted chicken instead of beef on hummus and he said no. Only the beef on top of hummus.

A friend of mine absolutely loves this place, so we swung by to give it a try. We were a bit underwhelmed, as while the food was good, the service was beyond lacking.

There’s a decent size parking lot, but given the number of high traffic businesses that it serves, you’re best off carpooling to avoid parking issues. When we went in, the hostess ignored us, so we grabbed our own menus and sat ourselves at a table.

It took about twenty minutes for a waiter to realize that we were in his section and needed to be served. He was pretty friendly when he finally arrived, and helped make a couple of recommendations. It was the only high point of service that day.

Apparently you can’t just get water here, which one of our group wanted to do. The waiter said that they’re a coffee shop and hookah bar, so they don’t have tap water. I’m not sure where that leap of logic came from. Every other coffee shop and every other hookah bar I’ve been to has been able to give you a cup of water.

The appetizer sampler was solid. The kibbe (seasoned ground beef in a shell) was crisp, the baba ganoush and hummus were on point, and the other “empanada”– I forget the name– appetizers were delicious.

The family mixed grill was similarly impressive. There was a large amount of food– including three different meats, rice, French fries, and grilled vegetables. We split it up evenly and barely got through all of it, but there was probably enough food on there to feed a fifth person if we’d come in for a normal meal and not as hungry as we had been.

Drink refills took forever to arrive, which was quite annoying considering it shouldn’t take over 20 minutes to get an ice tea or a can of Coke The second set of refills we ordered never even came out. We asked twice, waited, and just gave up.

Worst part of the service had to be at the end. The waiters obviously lost interest in us– possibly everyone– and disappeared. Even my friend who recommended the place admitted that it can take an hour to get the bill because the waiters disappear for smoke breaks or whatever.

Two friends came by to say hi and sat with us briefly without ordering anything, then left. When the bill came, they’d added a gratuity since six people had BRIEFLY been at the table, even though only four of us were actually there to eat and drink.

All in all, the food is good, and worth the price, but for how bad the service is here, you’re better off going to a variety of other locations where you can get MUCH better service. I’m not sure I’ll be coming back here.

Came here for the hookah on a Saturday evening. Hookah was fairly priced and good. I had the Watermelon/Peach with the Pineapple head. The crowd was pretty light but it was around seven so pretty early. Complimentary Valet is available and recommended since the parking lot is not that big.

They have to improve the management and it is very bad.

It was my favorite place but now it’s changed.

I don’t recommend this place and the price very high.

Based on Jaafar A. review on 3/23/19 and talking to some eye witnesses who were present at the time of the incident, I have decided to delete my 2 five stars reviews that I had left for Wasfi’s in the past 2 years. Ever since I went to this place I’ve been thinking about going again.My friend took me to Wasfi’s Grill and Hookah and now I am forever indebted to her. It was SO good! All of the food was so flavorful and very fresh.
