Always ensure that Osteocare is taken with plenty of liquid to wash down the tablet. We do not recommend chewing the tablets because they have not been formulated as chewable preparations. Need help swallowing a tablet or capsule?
Difficulty in swallowing tablets is quite a common experience. Vitabiotics have researched this extensively and recommend after chewing some food (e.g. banana), just before you swallow, pop the tablet into your mouth and swallow it together with the chewed food, followed by some liquid. The throat opens up wider to swallow the chewed food and so the tablet should go down with greater ease. Alternatively, the tablets may be swallowed with thicker liquids such as yoghurts or smoothies.

For those people who experience difficulty swallowing tablets, are there any tips or recommendations to help ease swallowing Osteocare tablets?
In general calcium supplement tablets do tend to be larger than other pharmaceutical preparations. The Osteocare tablets have been specially designed with an oval, streamlined, easy to swallow shape. However, if you do have difficulty swallowing, the same formula is available in a chewable tablet form. Osteocare is also available in a pleasant smooth, orange tasting liquid form.
What is the source of calcium used in Osteocare ?
The calcium in Osteocare is in the form of calcium carbonate, which provides the highest concentration of elemental calcium possible in a supplement. This means that Osteocare can provide the full NRV of calcium and other minerals without the need to take lots of tablets. The calcium carbonate used is of high pharmaceutical grade from a natural source. To prevent possible contamination with metals such as lead, oyster calcium and bone-dolomite have not been included in the Osteocare formulation.
Can calcium supplements like Osteocare cause kidney stones?
It is important to select a calcium supplement such as Osteocare , which includes calcium in combination with other synergistic co-factors such as magnesium. The presence of the mineral magnesium, as well as contributing to the maintenance of normal bones, also contributes to normal protein synthesis and electrolyte balance.
Are Osteocare tablets absorbed by the body as quickly as the liquid version?
Osteocare tablets are tested to ensure the correct disintegration and dissolution profiles. Strict pharmaceutical disintegration tests, under the same comparative acidic conditions of the stomach, have shown the tablets to disintegrate between 6 to 15 mins (on average). Once the tablets have disintegrated the nutrients in tablet form will be absorbed at approximately the same rate as the liquid version.
Is Osteocare recommended with any other Vitabiotics product(s)?
Osteocare has been carefully formulated so that it can be used in combination with any other product in Vitabiotics multivitamin and mineral product range, or other food supplements such as garlic, fish oil etc. However, for maximum results we recommend Osteocare is taken at a separate time of the day, at least an hour apart from your main Vitabiotics multivitamin supplement.

In general calcium supplement tablets do tend to be larger than other pharmaceutical preparations. The Osteocare tablets have been specially designed with an oval, streamlined, easy to swallow shape. However, if you do have difficulty swallowing, the same formula is available in a chewable tablet form. Osteocare is also available in a pleasant smooth, orange tasting liquid form.

The calcium in Osteocare is in the form of calcium carbonate, which provides the highest concentration of elemental calcium possible in a supplement. This means that Osteocare can provide the full NRV of calcium and other minerals without the need to take lots of tablets. The calcium carbonate used is of high pharmaceutical grade from a natural source. To prevent possible contamination with metals such as lead, oyster calcium and bone-dolomite have not been included in the Osteocare formulation.

It is important to select a calcium supplement such as Osteocare , which includes calcium in combination with other synergistic co-factors such as magnesium. The presence of the mineral magnesium, as well as contributing to the maintenance of normal bones, also contributes to normal protein synthesis and electrolyte balance.

Osteocare tablets are tested to ensure the correct disintegration and dissolution profiles. Strict pharmaceutical disintegration tests, under the same comparative acidic conditions of the stomach, have shown the tablets to disintegrate between 6 to 15 mins (on average). Once the tablets have disintegrated the nutrients in tablet form will be absorbed at approximately the same rate as the liquid version.

Osteocare has been carefully formulated so that it can be used in combination with any other product in Vitabiotics multivitamin and mineral product range, or other food supplements such as garlic, fish oil etc. However, for maximum results we recommend Osteocare is taken at a separate time of the day, at least an hour apart from your main Vitabiotics multivitamin supplement.

The liquid version is ideal for those who have difficulty swallowing tablets, and for younger children and infants over six months of age. Osteocare tablets – Two tablets daily (or one tablet twice daily) is recommended before or with meals, with water or a cold drink. Swallow without chewing. Always ensure that Osteocare is taken with plenty of liquid to wash down the tablet. We do not recommend chewing the tablets because they have not been formulated as chewable preparations. Difficulty in swallowing tablets is quite a common experience. Vitabiotics have researched this extensively and recommend after chewing some food (e.g. banana), just before you swallow, pop the tablet into your mouth and swallow it together with the chewed food, followed by some liquid. The throat opens up wider to swallow the chewed food and so the tablet should go down with greater ease. Alternatively, the tablets may be swallowed with thicker liquids such as yoghurts or smoothies.

Each Osteocare Plus capsule includes soy isoflavones and essential fatty acids DHA* and EPA* which contribute to the normal function of the heart. Two Osteocare micronutrient tablets Plus one capsule are recommended daily with meals, with water or a cold drink. Swallow without chewing. Difficulty in swallowing tablets is quite a common experience. Vitabiotics have researched this extensively and recommend after chewing some food (e.g. banana), just before you swallow, pop the tablet into your mouth and swallow it together with the chewed food, followed by some liquid. The throat opens up wider to swallow the chewed food and so the tablet should go down with greater ease. Alternatively, the tablets may be swallowed with thicker liquids such as yoghurts or smoothies.

The calcium in Osteocare Plus is in the form of calcium carbonate, which provides the highest concentration of elemental calcium possible in a supplement. This means that Osteocare Plus can provide the full NRV of calcium and other minerals without the need to take lots of tablets. The calcium carbonate used is of high pharmaceutical grade from a natural source. To prevent possible contamination with metals such as lead, oyster calcium and bone-dolomite have not been included in the Osteocare formulation.

It is important to select a calcium supplement such as Osteocare Glucosamine, which includes calcium in combination with other synergistic co-factors such as magnesium. The presence of the mineral magnesium, as well as contributing to the maintenance of normal bones, also contributes to normal protein synthesis and electrolyte balance.

During pregnancy we recommend you take a supplement specially formulated for pregnancy such at Vitabiotics Pregnacare Max which provides 500mg calcium. جذب خوراکی کلسیم باغذاهای فیبر دار، غذاهای حاوی اگزالیک اسید (اسفناج) و غذاهای حاوی سبوس و فسفر (شیر و لبنیات) کم می شود. همچنین جذب خوراکی کلسیم همراه با آهن و آنتی بیوتیک ها (تتراساکلین ها و سیپروفلوکساسین) دچار اشکال می شود.
بهترین زمان مصرف مکمل های کلسیم 1 ساعت بعد از غذا همراه با یک لیوان پر آب می باشد.

کلسیم:

زینک ( روی ) :
یکی از مواد معدنی ضروری برای بدن بوده که برای ساخت کلاژن که پروتئینی رشته ای بوده و در استحکام بخش در بافت پوست و استخوان موثر است نقش دارد ضروری است.
ویتامین D :
یک ویتامین محلول در چربی می باشد که مهمترین نقش آن کمک به جذب روده ای کلسیم و فسفر می باشد . در غیاب این ویتامین جذب کلسیم به درستی انجام نمی گیرد.

می خوام بدونم برای این سن مناسبه و مکمل مناسب تری هم موجود هستش برای این سن (هم نیاز های بدن رو جبران کنه و هم اگه امکان افزایش قد بود فراهم بشه)؟

These are good value and the right combination of ingredients. I used to take calcium with vitamin D but the addition of magnesium seems to have a mild calming effect.

Having recently excluded dairy from my diet and hitting the menopause I decided I should take a supplement. Unfortunately, these are just too big for me to swallow even when cut in half. I will be trying the liquid version next.

کلسیم : مهمترین ماده معدنی موجود در استخوان است نقش مهمی در عملکرد صحیح ماهیچه ها،اعصاب و سلامت قلب دارد،در بازسازی بافت ها و کنترل فشار خون موثر است.
منیزیم : نسبت منیزیم به کلسیم در بدن بسیار حیاتی است و مصرف کلسیم حتماً باید در تعادل با منیزیم مصرفی باشد.کمبود منیزیم باعث کاهش جذب کلسیم می شود.نقش اساسی در سلامت سیستم عصبی و ماهیچه های قلب دارد .

آیا می توان مصرف استئوکر را بطور ناگهانی قطع کرد؟
مصرف برخی از دارو هارا به دلیل بازگشت علایم بیماری نمی توان به یکباره قطع کرد. در مورد نحوه صحیح قطع مصرف استئوکر با پزشک معالج مشورت نمایید.

اگر همزمان با قرص های استئوکر از داروهای دیگری استفاده میکنید ممکن است اثربخشی استئوکر تحت تاثیر قرار گیرد. این وضعیت ممکن است باعث تشدید اثرات جانبی شود و یا حتی تاثیر استئوکر بر بدن را از بین ببرد. اگر از داروهای دیگری استفاده می کنید اعم از ویتامین ها و داروهای گیاهی؛ پزشک را در جریان بگذارید تا در پیشگیری و مدیریت تداخلات دارویی شما را راهنمایی کند.
استئوکر می تواند با داروهای ذکر شده در زیر تداخل ایجاد کند:
دور از دسترس کودکان در جای خشک و در دمای کمتر از 25 درجه سانتیگراد نگهداری شود.
