Wellman Original contains a comprehensive formulation of over 29 nutrients. Wellman has been specially developed for men of all ages to help maintain general health and vitality in an otherwise hectic lifestyle. Wellman represents a simple solution, with an advanced one-a-day tablet, which unlike a general multivitamin, has been specifically formulated for the specific needs of men.
Wellman is different from a regular multivitamin as its formula has been optimised for men’s health on the basis of international research evidence, so some nutrients are provided at levels above the Nutrient Reference Value. While Wellman provides a core source of all the major vitamins and minerals, it also provides more than 100% of certain nutrients, plus Siberian Ginseng, Co-enzyme Q10 and amino acids.

A healthy immune system is important for good health. Wellman includes vitamins A, C, D, B6 and B12 plus folic acid and copper which contribute to the normal function of the immune system. It provides 10mcg vitamin D, the level recommended by the UK Department of Health.
To be on top of your game you can’t afford to be tired. Wellman provides pantothenic acid and magnesium which contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Wellman provides zinc which contributes to normal reproduction and the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood. The formula also includes selenium which contributes to normal spermatogenesis. Since men lose an estimated 5 mg of zinc every time they ejaculate, a good intake of zinc is essential. Folate, iron, magnesium and vitamin B12 have a role in cell division, plus vitamin A which has a role in the process of cell specialisation.
Based on the latest scientific research, Wellman has been developed by a team of experts led by the former Vitabiotics Chairman, Professor Arnold Beckett, who was a member of the Medical Commission of the International Olympic Committee for over 25 years. Wellman is currently used in training by several professional sports men.

Wellman is available in 30 tablets (1 month’s supply). It is recommended to take one tablet per day.

One tablet with or immediately after your main meal, swallow with water or a cold drink. Not to be chewed. Wellman should only be taken on a full stomach. Always ensure that Wellman is taken with plenty of liquid to wash the tablet down, and not tea or coffee, as this may cause the tablet to disintegrate too early.

Wellman has no known side-effects when taken as directed. Do not exceed the recommended tablet intake. In case of overdose, seek medical advice immediately. Wellman is a non-addictive formulation, and is free from drugs and hormones.

Difficulty in swallowing tablets is quite a common experience. Vitabiotics have researched this extensively and recommend after chewing some food (e.g. banana), just before you swallow, pop the tablet into your mouth and swallow it together with the chewed food, followed by some liquid. The throat opens up wider to swallow the chewed food and so the tablet should go down with greater ease. Alternatively, the tablets may be swallowed with thicker liquids such as yoghurts or smoothies.

Results vary amongst individuals, but in most cases, we would expect the beneficial effects of the vitamins and minerals in Wellman to build over several weeks, with noticeable results in one to three months. There is no maximum length of time over which Wellman may be used. A regular intake is recommended.

Certain vitamins are very safe at levels tens or even hundreds of times the NRV, whereas for others the safety level is much closer to the NRV. For this reason every vitamin and mineral needs to considered on an individual basis in terms of its upper safe level.
The Nutrient Reference Value (NRV) is the amount of a vitamin or mineral which has been calculated to help prevent basic deficiency states in the general population. However, certain vitamins and minerals at optimal levels, above the NRV, have consistently been shown to have positive benefits in specific areas of health. This is why some Vitabiotics formulas have certain nutrient levels greater than 100% NRV.
All Vitabiotics products has been developed using the latest research and contain effective levels of vitamins and minerals, while avoiding any excessive amounts, in accordance with official upper safe limits for vitamins and minerals.

The retina and the lens can be damaged over the years by exposure to sunlight, smoke and pollution. Wellman 50+ provides vitamin C and E which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, plus mineral zinc, which contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
Wellman 50+ contains vitamin B1 which contributes to the normal function of the heart. It also contains a combination of folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12 which contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism, and normal red blood cell formation. Wellman 50+ contains 30 tablets per pack and it is recommended to take one per day.

One tablet per day is recommended, with or immediately after your main meal, with water or a cold drink. Taking the tablet with a large meal maximises the absorption of the nutrients, and can reduce nausea, which is sometimes experienced if multivitamins are taken on an empty stomach. Wellman 50+ should only be taken on a full stomach. Always ensure that Wellman 50+ is taken with plenty of liquid to wash the tablet down, and not tea or coffee as this may cause the tablet to disintegrate too early.

Difficulty in swallowing tablets is quite a common experience. Vitabiotics have researched this extensively and recommend after chewing some food (e.g. banana), just before you swallow, pop the tablet into your mouth and swallow it together with the chewed food, followed by some liquid. The throat opens up wider to swallow the chewed food and so the tablet should go down with greater ease. Alternatively, the tablets may be swallowed with thicker liquids such as yoghurts or smoothies.
